This high-quality basswood surface is perfect for fine art, encaustic art, fiber or paper collage, woodburning, wood carving and more. Can be reversed to create shadowbox art piece or to display keepsakes. Each panel is made from 1/4" premium basswood, cradled by a pine wood frame that is ready to hang on a wall. The kiln dried, finely sanded surface has no pitch or grain to interfere with techniques and will not flex, stretch or warp. This canvas is reversible—use it with or without the frame.
